Watching Abby grab for anything going in our mouths prompted me to consider her first meal. Armed with a menu of rice cereal mixed with a bit of formula, I scooped a bit onto a tiny plastic spoon. I aimed carefully for her tiny mouth, but she had other ideas. Mayhem and laughter ensued, and I wondered why on earth I'd decided to do this AFTER her evening bath.
